What's the point of the oil? I just add a little low fat milk to make it creamier... oil just adds so much more fat. Cider vinegar and celery salt (not regular salt) and fresh ground black pepper is my choice instead of poppy. I also add fresh diced bell pepper, whatever color I have: It adds great flavor.

Nice recipe but poppy seed has no flavor, I use mustard seed and celery seed soaked overnite in a small amount of vinegar,forget the oil or use fragrant olive oil, dry mustard powder may be used instead in the marinade mix
