Grandma’s Lemon Meringue Pie

In this video, you’ll see how to make a 5-star recipe for sweet and tangy lemon meringue pie. This recipe is simple and fun to make, just the way grandma likes it. The key is to thicken the lemon filling with cornstarch and a bit of flour. You’ll also get tips for zesting and juicing the fresh lemons and for separating the egg yolks. You'll also see how to properly temper the egg yolks and whip up a beautiful meringue. Baked for just 10 minutes, the pie comes out of the oven nice and lemony, not too sweet, with a golden brown meringue. See how it’s done. Watch the video, then get Emilie’s recipe for Grandma’s Lemon Meringue Pie.

.Im in my 70's and have not seen an old fashion Lemon Meringue pie recipe like this in ages. I can just taste it and forget those store bought pies. Lemon Meringue is still my favorite. Alleluia
