I started this chicken and dumpling recipe this morning and is now finished. I'm an amateur cook. My wife, kids, and I are leaving for a while and was wondering if I should put the biscuits in now and let them cook first for later, or if we should reheat when we come back later and add the biscuits then? What would you recommend? Any Feedback?Thanks in advanced! :)

When I make this I leave out the biscuitsl. I shred the chicken with two forks, add mixed veggies, cook thirty minutes more. Then pour into deep dish pie shells. Cover with crust and bake homemade pot pie! One crockpot worth will usually fill 3 pie shells! I bake one right away and freeze the other two fillings for quick prep nights.
