All boullian is salty. I looked for the vegeta in line and they have it. I also found a recipe to make your own. 8.8oz of dehydrated carrot,3TBLSP of tumeric,2TBLSP of garlic powder, and 5TBLSP of iodized sea salt. Pulse in ginder. I highly recommend using the sea salt as store brands of alleged iodized salt are no longer what they used to be. And the addition of Tumeric is a powerhouse of healthy ingredient.

I just made this. Instead of ham, i had some home made prosuitto that someone had given me, and vegeta instead of the chicken bouillon. I knew the prosuitto would be salty and the vegeta. so i did not ad d any more salt, plus i limited how much prosuitto i added. It turned out great! simple recipe for comfort food.

I made this tonight...looked so good! Just tooooooo much salt! Not sure if it was the chicken granules or the additional salt called for in the recipe, but it was very salty! I will make it again and cut the salt by 2/3.....otherwise good flavor and consistency. I served it with cheese biscuits and a Spinach/Apple /almond salad with a cider vinaigrette.
